Experience

7 years with AS (24 semester hrs surveying); 4 years with BS

Examinations

FS (Fundamentals of Surveying) — required by all states
PS (Principles and Practice of Surveying) — required by all states
State-specific: South Dakota take-home surveying exam + laws and rules exam

Continuing Education

30 PDH per 2-year cycle
