No degree required (8 years experience path per NDCC 43-19.1); 2-year degree with 6 yrs; BS with 4 yrs

Experience

8 years without degree; 6 years with 2-year degree; 4 years with ABET BS

Examinations

• FS (Fundamentals of Surveying) — required by all states
• PS (Principles and Practice of Surveying) — required by all states
• State-specific: North Dakota 2-hour State-Specific Examination

Continuing Education

30 CPC credits per 2-year cycle (min 20 technical, max 10 non-technical)
