Experience
5 years with HS diploma (no apprenticeship); 3 yrs with HS + apprenticeship; 5 yrs with AS; fewer with BS
Examinations
- FS (Fundamentals of Surveying) — required by all states
- PS (Principles and Practice of Surveying) — required by all states
- State-specific: North Carolina State-Specific Exam (laws, procedures, practices)
Continuing Education
15 PDH per year (includes 1 PDH Ethics/Rules, 1 PDH Standards of Practice)
