Experience

8 years with non-degree path; 6 years with AS; 4 years with BS

Examinations

• FS (Fundamentals of Surveying) — required by all states
• PS (Principles and Practice of Surveying) — required by all states
• State-specific: Kansas State-Specific Exam (KSS, 2-part, ~2 hrs 15 min)

Continuing Education

30 CEU per 2-year renewal cycle (includes 2 hrs Kansas Minimum Standards)
