Education

AS from board-approved 2-year surveying curriculum (per CRS 12-25-214; HS diploma path repealed July 2020)

Experience

6 years with AS/2-year program; 4 years with non-ABET 4-year; 2 years with ABET BS

Examinations

FS (Fundamentals of Surveying) — required by all states
PS (Principles and Practice of Surveying) — required by all states
State-specific: Colorado Law Exam (1.5 hours)

Continuing Education

30 CEH per 2-year reporting period (land surveying subjects required)
