6 years total accumulated experience/education; education offsets up to 4 years (so 2 years with BS)

Examinations

  • FS (Fundamentals of Surveying) — required by all states
  • PS (Principles and Practice of Surveying) — required by all states
  • State-specific: New Hampshire Legal Aspects (NHL) Exam

Continuing Education

8 CEU per 2-year cycle (4 contact hours = 1 CEU)
