Experience

5 years with AS (includes 2-yr apprenticeship); 3 years with BS

Examinations

  • FS (Fundamentals of Surveying) — required by all states
  • PS (Principles and Practice of Surveying) — required by all states
  • State-specific: Georgia State-Specific Exam (Laws and History of Land Surveying in Georgia)

Continuing Education

15 PDH per year (includes min 3 PDH in Minimum Technical Standards per 2 years)
