Education

AS/AAS in Surveying or Surveying Technology from board-approved program (per 17 CAR §285-304); BS paths also available

Experience

6 years with AS/AAS; 3 years with BS in surveying or BS + 30 hrs surveying

Examinations

  • FS (Fundamentals of Surveying) — required by all states
  • PS (Principles and Practice of Surveying) — required by all states
  • State-specific: Arkansas State Specific Exam

Continuing Education

30 PDH per 2-year cycle (includes 2 PDH Arkansas Standards of Practice)
